Planning Ahead: #AYearAThon TBR (2)

Happy March everybody! I've been hearing about the AYearAThon read-a-thon around BookTube for quite some time and decided that it was finally time to jump in and participate. For those who don't know, the AYearAThon is a read-a-thon that takes place over the span of an entire year with each month having a different focus. For example, the focus for this month is Benchwarmer books - books that have been on your bookshelf for quite some time and you need to start them.

Ever since I started blogging more "intensely," I've been buying a lot more books and my personal library has grown quite a bit. For this particular read-a-thon, I only picked physical books because if I even attempt to delve into my massive e-book collection, I will never settle on one book. Anyway, I decided to combine this week's Planning Ahead post with my TBR since showing you guys my TBR is already half the post, let's get started:

This was one of the first books I ever bought from the library and has been sitting on my shelf collecting dust for almost two years. It's a fae book which I haven't read in quite some time and follows three women who are struggle to fight against a wave of evil that is threatening to take over both the mortal and Sidhe thrones. I really want to get started on this trilogy since I also own book two and I'm planning on placing a book order soon so if I do like it, I can easily pick up book three.

I received this book waaaay back in December from BookLooks and it's RIDICULOUS that I haven't read it yet. My biggest obstacle in reading this book is that I haven't read the first two books and my library doesn't have them either. I contemplated buying e-copies, but they were actually more expensive than the physical books. I have started this already, but it's taking me a while since I haven't gotten the chance to experience the build-up in the first two books. It's definitely good, but just hard for me to get into. Hopefully I'll finish this...that's what I've been saying for the past two months...

I received this book at BookCon 2014 as an ARC and I've been planning to read it for so long. It follows a young girl in the music industry and from what I can tell based on the back cover, there's mystery and deceit and it sounds super interesting! This is my back-up book in case I need some help with Rebels or Silver's Edge because it's short and I think I can easily get through the book fairly quickly.

Yup...haven't finished it yet...I'm working on it

I was kindly sent an e-copy from Entangled Teen and NetGalley to review this book. This actually comes out March 10th I believe so my review will either go up tomorrow or Wednesday depending on my schedule. The good news is that I already pre-planned this review out so all I got to do is format a blogpost and type it all out. Another piece of good news is that I loved this book.

I just finished this book yesterday after ditching math homework because I couldn't think anymore. I've heard lots of great things about this book and I was feeling a bit slumpy so I decided to pick it. Blew through it in a day and it was pretty good. I didn't feel as emotionally wrecked as other people said, but I still really liked it. Still gotta plan out this one, but I'm aiming for Friday or Saturday, but if you look down to the next TBReviewed, this might get pushed to next week.

I failed last week...gonna try again this week...

So that's what I have planned! A bit ambitious since I tried doing three reviews last week and failed, but we have standarized testing this week which means hopefully less homework which equals to more time to write reviews! If you're participating in the AYearAThon this week, what are you reading?

Foreverly Obsessed,
